Sierra Club Pennsylvania Chapter We are the only member-led statewide environmental organization in Pennsylvania.

We're dedicated to exploring, enjoying, and protecting Pennsylvania's wild places. The Pennsylvania Chapter was organized in the early 1970s and is comprised of 24,000 members in ten Groups. The ten Groups inside our Chapter are the Lake Erie Group (LKE), the Allegheny Group (ALG), the Moshannon Group (MSH), the Otzinachson Group (OTZ), the Lancaster Group (LAN), the Kittatinny Group (KIT), the Go

✅🌳 Do you know how your state lawmakers scored on the environment this session?

🎯 The NEW Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard tracked 16 bills passed by the State House – 15 of which lower electric bills, put guardrails on AI data centers, protect clean water, expand clean energy, and strengthen democracy.

❌The State Senate blocked all but one of these bills.

Pennsylvanians deserve to know whether their elected officials supported their communities or billionaires.

🚧⚡ : Yesterday, Governor Josh Shapiro signed an executive order putting strict guardrails and clean energy requirements on AI data center development in Pennsylvania.

This mandate establishes core protections, including:
🔌Bringing more clean energy online
🏭Pollution controls on diesel backup generators
💦 Preventing air and water pollution
❌Prohibiting non-disclosure agreements
🙏Safeguarding PA ratepayers
