THE BRAIN INJURY JOURNEY… ❤️

Sometimes, a single video can tell a story that words simply cannot.

This is our daughter, Sierra, learning to walk again at just 17 years old after a devastating brain injury.

This moment was more than taking a step. It was a moment of hope. Determination. Faith. And an entire family holding its breath and cheering her on.

And then, just FOUR WEEKS later, something happened that we will never forget…

Sierra walked out of the rehabilitation center—all by herself. 🥹❤️

But the brain injury journey doesn’t end when someone walks out of rehab.

The journey continues with the physical challenges, the emotional battles, the changes that others may not see, and the countless milestones—big and small—that survivors and their families face along the way.

We know this journey because we have lived it.

And that is why we created Unmask the Invisible—to help bring education, resources, support, and hope to the brain injury community.

Now, we want to pay it forward.

On November 7, we will hold our annual Chuckles for Charity event, bringing our community together for an evening of laughter, love, and giving—all to raise funds to support brain injury survivors and their families throughout their recovery journey.

Because behind every brain injury is a person fighting to reclaim pieces of their life.

And behind every survivor is a family learning to navigate a journey they never expected to take.

Sierra’s first steps remind us what is possible.

Now, we want to help give other survivors the opportunity to take their next step.
