Did you know: David’s House offers more than just comfy rooms?

In addition to our outside playground, we have an expansive play area that covers three rooms inside of the house; stocked with toys, games, books, and movies for all ages! This space is lovingly cleaned and organized by a revolving list of Volunteers who help to make sure that even our youngest Guests are safe, and feel welcomed when they’re staying with us. 🧡 💜

If there are any parts of the House that you’d like to see us post photos and information of, let us know in the comments! You’re also welcome to book a tour of the House by calling 603-643-2298, 8:AM-3:PM, Monday through Wednesday, and 1:PM-8:PM Thursday through Saturday.

On this date 40 years ago, David’s House opened its doors for the first time. A former Guest of ours once said, “Your whole world gets turned upside down when your child becomes sick or injured.”

Thanks to the vision of the Cyr family and the hard work and dedication of many, we have been able to support families in that difficult situation for four decades now. We are looking forward to celebrating this remarkable achievement throughout the coming year as we continue our important work. On behalf of the thousands of families who have needed us over the past 40 years, and the thousands more who will need us, thank you, friends, for making this milestone possible!

Recently, we've had two separate groups from Dartmouth College help at the house over the last few weeks The Dartmouth College Men's Tennis Team dropped off a delicious meal for our Guests, and members from the Gamma Delta Chi Fraternity (many of whom are on the Dartmouth Football Team) came to help with an Autumn Clean-Up. We're so thankful for the individuals and groups who help us to fulfill our mission!

Last Friday, our Friends from the Physician Assistant program at Franklin Pierce University participated in a volunteer day where they helped tidy up the front yard and make sure all of the toys in the playroom were cleaned and put away - David's House is always thankful for the groups and individuals who come together to make up our volunteer program!

Living our values, leading by example. Our senior leaders take a break from strategic planning and serve in the community. Today we highlight cooking at .house for families staying at the house who have children being treated at Dartmouth Children's Hospital.
