Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and their legacy lives on through the families, friends, and communities they left behind.
Memorial Day is more than a long weekend—it is a reminder that time is precious and that the bonds we share with one another matter. Reach out to a fellow veteran, call an old friend from your unit, check in on a military family, or spend time with those you love. Too often we assume there will always be another opportunity to reconnect, but tomorrow is never guaranteed.
For those who served and are still with us, know that your friendship, mentorship, and presence continue to make a difference. For those who never came home, we carry their memory forward through our actions, our stories, and our commitment to one another.
Today, honor the fallen by living well, serving others, and staying connected to the people who matter most. Share a story, make a phone call, visit a grave, raise a toast, or simply spend a moment in quiet reflection. Never forget that behind every name etched in stone was a son, daughter, brother, sister, spouse, parent, teammate, or friend.
We remember them. We honor them. We will never forget them.
