The conversations on that bench were just the beginning.

The people you heard from on that bench are still here. Still in Hagerstown. And The Hope Center is still showing up for them every single day.

Today is Mae's birthday!

Mae is grateful for the gift of motherhood God has bestowed on her this past year. She is looking forward to watching her son, Benaiah, grow, see her husband be the best dad, and grow more in her relationship with Christ in this new season.
Her favorite part of her job is the second family she has in the individuals she has built relationships with.

Be sure to wish her a happy birthday!

Thank you to everyone who tuned in, prayed, shared, and showed up. After time reflecting on all the impactful conversations Aimee shared Linda's story was specifically impactful. What stood out to her the most was the moment she said, "There's no place for ladies to go even during the day, so I come to The Hope Center because I feel safe here." We are so grateful for the opportunity we have to build relationships with our community and be a safe place for them.

🧦 WE’RE HALFWAY THROUGH THE MONTH OF SOCK-TOBER! 🧦

October is flying by, but there’s still time to get in on the challenge!

If you haven't started a sock drive yet, START ONE.
If you started one already, KEEP GOING.
If your box is getting full, ADD ANOTHER ONE! 😉

We want to see just how many NEW socks our community can collect before October 31.

So tell your coworkers.
Tell your church.
Tell your friends.
Tell your family.

KEEP THOSE SOCKS COMING! 🧦❤️
