A collaboration of non-profit organizations that provide financial education and services to assist low to moderate income individuals and families achieve financial stability. The Financial Education Partnership-Washington County (FEP-WC) was created in 2015 to promote and provide financial education and services to the low-moderate income individuals and families in Washington County, MD. A true

collaborative effort, FEP-WC began as a collaboration between the United Way of Washington County and four non-profits: Reach of Washington Co., Washington County Community Action Council, Lasting Change Recovery Solutions for Women (formerly the W House) and the Hagerstown Housing Authority. In 2017, we added two more partners, Horizon Goodwill Industries and Interfaith Service Coalition, allowing us to expand our program in order to provide more free financial education opportunities within Washington County. Classes are provided at a variety of locations throughout the county using a curriculum developed by the CASH Campaign of Maryland and adapted specifically for Washington County. Reach of Washington County serves as the lead agency for the collaborative and is responsible for the oversight, coordination and strategic planning of programs and services.
