The Salasin Project Director, Becky Lockwood, recently spoke with Congressman Jim McGovern at the press conference announcing almost 10 million in federal grants for Franklin County treatment and recovery programs through the Franklin County Sheriffs Office and the Opioid Task Force. Salasin Project is a partner with the Sheriff’s Office to support people with histories of sexual and domestic violence and involvement with the Justice system 💜

Governor Healey announced new heating assistance and energy relief for Massachusetts households, including:


Increased HEAP benefits for eligible low-income households

A new one-time benefit of up to $680 for qualifying middle-income households who heat with oil

Expanded support to help more families stay warm this winter

HEAP is free to apply for and available to eligible renters and homeowners, regardless of heating source.
