A Pay-What-You-Can Café feeding Franklin County delicious healthy food every Saturday at noon! Our meals are good and good for you! Where is it?

The Café’s food philosophy is the reason its menus and meals have become a popular draw to our community. Our philosophy is to find a celebration that falls on each Saturday (or close to it) from any tradition or place on the planet. Each week the Chef team searches the world for these opportunities to celebrate our community. We embrace cuisine from around the world and bring it to the table for all to eat. Our desire is to provide palette-expanding opportunities that meet the needs of all our guests. Our food is made from scratch – rarely opening cans or boxes – and meets the needs of any dietary preference or restriction. Our weekly menu offers vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free foods as well as meat or fish protein options. What is it?: A yummy Pay-What-You-Can meal made by loving people for the community. We offer balanced nutritious meals that are free or by donation every Saturday from 12:00-1:30 at the All Souls Church in Greenfield. Mission of Cafe: Our mission is to create a community space that can blend social gaps; where people of all social classes, races, and backgrounds can come together, share a meal, converse, and above all have a good time! All Souls Church, Greenfield Massachusetts. The red door on Hope Street (near the corner of Main Street).

Have you seen this before? Romanesco is related to both cauliflower and broccoli and has a vibrant green color and a cool geometric shape! It can be roasted and eaten as you would with cauliflower or broccoli.

This romanesco was donated to us by our friends at Northfield Mount Hermon’s school farm NMH farm You can grab some, along with so many other veggies, at tomorrow’s Community Store from 12-1:30pm on Hope St.

Join us over dinner on Tuesday November 17th from 6-8pm at the cafe for our next Solidarity Workshop! We will be joined by Touch the Sky (Touch the Sky). We will learn about their community meeting model which brings together unhoused and housed community members to creatively problem solve how to meet needs and build a community that can fight back against a world of disposability.

A beautiful fall day at the Greenfield Farmers Market!
