Final days to view: CARNIVAL STUDIES - Solo Exhibition by Lisa Beskin

“Carnival Studies is a series of photographs I took over several carnival seasons in Massachusetts. With two exceptions the photos were all made with a Polaroid camera on instant film. This older photographic technology suits the carnival experience, which is always kind of timeless and haunting.” - Lisa Beskin

The gallery is open Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - please check our website “hours” section for details

⭐️The Beauty of Chinese Ceramics: Form, Glaze, and Everyday Life with Professor Grace (Mingli) Zhu

Greenfield Public Library MA and Artspace are thrilled to welcome Grace (Mingli) Zhu, Scholar of Chinese Classical Aesthetics, Author, and Adjunct Professor at the University of South China for a talk on Chinese ceramics.

Porcelain begins with the simplest materials, earth, water, and fire, but its history crosses centuries, oceans, and cultures. First developed in China, it was once a mystery that European makers struggled for generations to understand. It later traveled around the world, inspiring new designs and becoming part of European and American tables, celebrations, and family memories.

For more information, contact Lisa Prolman at [email protected] call (413) 772-1544.

❤️This program, generously sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, is free and intended for ages 18+.

‼️CALLING ALL ARTISTS‼️
Artspace Greenfield invites Western Mass artists and crafters to participate in a November 15th Maker’s Market ✨at the top of the Holiday Season✨

This is a unique, early-season opportunity for makers to sell work without having to be on site.

Artists drop off work ahead of time, we display the work in our gallery and handle all sales. The following week, you come pick up your unsold work and a check for the proceeds, minus a modest commission for Artspace.

⭐️Apply to the Market by filling out a brief Google form by October 13th at 8am.
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScCoRAhxk-pKsGd-4sqoTTMU1iHh4oSSoU-Lkj4_quXg5sffQ/viewform

⭐️You will hear back from us by October 20th at 1pm.

This 2026 Maker’s Market will help raise money
for Artspace’s community ceramics studio, visual arts education, and youth programs. Plus, since you don’t have to be present at the event in order to sell goods, you can use the time for another market or to make more art!
