Foundation for Community Justice The Foundation for Community Justice supports individuals & the community in promoting justice, & engaging in the process of recovery & healing from crime

The Foundation for Community Justice supports individuals and the community in promoting justice, and engaging in the process of recovery and healing from crime in the Franklin County area. Established in 2001, the Foundation for Community Justice is run by a volunteer board and with no paid staff. We value our strong partnerships with local police departments and the justice system, and area soci

al service agencies. Our motto is ‘a little makes a big difference’ to provide both financial relief and a symbol of community support to those impacted by crime. Our organizational mission is carried out in three primary ways:

Assisting those Recently Released from Jail
With basic needs before other social services kick in, including care packages of toiletries and clothing, bicycles and gym memberships, funds to complete educational advancement such as GED and Serv-Safe certifications, and transportation funds for jobs or medical appointments. Supporting the Victims of Crime
Through police referrals to help victims repair property damage when no one has been charged. Reuniting Community
By supporting projects such as Changing Lives Through Literature that unites those formerly incarcerated with judges and lawyers in reading groups, and by promoting local restorative justice efforts. The Foundation for Community Justice
is a 501 c3 organization and contributions are tax-deductible. Donations may be sent to POB 1266, Greenfield MA 01302-1266
