he Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. In partnership with the Women’s Fund volunteer board of advisors, the Foundation stewards, invests and distributes grants to community organizations. Women’s Fund provides grants that impact our area annually, while also growing its endowment so to make a difference each and every year – for all time. The Women’s Fund launched an exciting new campaign, Imagine the Future at our annual luncheon held in September 2013. This will enable the fund to make a transformational impact grant of $500,000 dollars into our local community to change the lives of girls in the Greater Green Bay area. The campaign will also add an additional $500,000 dollars to the endowment, which will grant more money annually and continue making a difference for all time.

Today we honor Juneteenth, a day commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States.

Today, we celebrate that freedom while recognizing that important work is still happening to reduce barriers to opportunity that still exist for many individuals and families. Organizations, community leaders, advocates, and everyday citizens continue working to create pathways to education, leadership, economic mobility, and belonging.

This Juneteenth, we honor the past, celebrate progress, and recommit ourselves to creating a future where everyone can thrive 💜

On this day in 1880, Jeannette Rankin was born - a woman who would go on to become the first woman elected to the United States Congress.

At a time when women across the country were still fighting for the right to vote, Rankin helped pave the way for future generations of women leaders by proving that women's voices belong at every decision-making table.

More than a century later, her legacy reminds us why investing in women and girls matters. When women have opportunities to lead, communities grow stronger.

Here's to the trailblazers who came before us- and to the women and girls who are shaping the future today!

Since 1995, the Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay has invested in women and girls across Northeast Wisconsin through leadership programs, mentorship opportunities, advocacy, and community support.

Today, the impact looks like:

⭐️ Thousands of women and girls impacted across Northeast Wisconsin

Women and girls still face barriers to opportunities to thrive. However, the solution that provides so much hope ➡️ a community willing to invest in them.

The continued support of our community, donors, volunteers, and the individuals & non-profits doing this important work every single day helps ensure local programs can continue empowering women and strengthening families throughout our region. 💜

And that kind of impact reaches far beyond what we can measure!

As the charity partner for this incredible event, we are honored to be part of a race weekend that celebrates strength, wellness, and community 🏃‍♀️ We are also excited to announce that the speaker for this event is our recent Nancy Armbrust Impact Award recipient, Rhonda Chandler, Founder and Executive Director of Lovin The Skin I'm In! Rhonda has built a nonprofit rooted in her personal commitment to ensure Black and Brown girls feel safe, confident, and proud of who they are 💜

Today is Menstrual Hygiene Day ♥️

Did you know, more than 500 million women and girls lack the resources and support they need to manage their periods safely and with dignity?

What some of us may take for granted, is a challenge that affects the educational and income-earning opportunities and the health of women and girls all over the world.
However, we have the power to change that!

1. Period-friendly social environment: Free from stigma, taboos, and restrictions.
2. Education: Timely, age-appropriate, and accessible.
3. Access! : Everyone deserves access to period products of their choice.
4. Period-friendly bathrooms: When designing these spaces, let's design with women and girls in mind, including those with disabilities. Accessible, clean, disposal options, water, and soap.
