Registration is open for the Fall 2026 Nonprofit Learning Series. This new pilot program offers free, in-depth virtual learning opportunities for nonprofit staff.

Each series goes beyond a single session, providing participants with the opportunity to build knowledge, explore strategies, and apply new tools within their organizations. Participants may register for one or more series based on their interests and availability.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us today for the release of the Northeast Wisconsin Local News Landscape Study, conducted by the UW-Green Bay Center for Civic Engagement.

This study reinforces what many of us see every day, and especially this week in the wake of the tornado that has impacted communities across the Fox Valley: local news plays a vital role in keeping our communities informed, engaged, and connected when it matters most. It also highlights opportunities for all of us to work together to support and sustain this essential resource.

In moments like these, it’s the strength of community and collective giving that helps neighbors support one another through the long road ahead.

In response to the July 27, 2026, tornado that devastated communities in the tri-county region of Winnebago, Calumet, and Outagamie counties, the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region along with United Way Fox Cities and the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation have activated the Community Response Fund 2026 Tornado Relief on July 28, 2026.

Together, we are working to move resources responsibly to support the nonprofits and community organizations at the center of the tornado relief and recovery efforts.

Our hearts are with our friends and neighbors in the Fox Valley. The devastation caused by the recent tornado is difficult to comprehend, and we are holding all those affected in our thoughts.

When you complete a damage report, it helps local emergency managers and community organizations understand where the greatest needs are so they can coordinate recovery efforts.

Days like this show how many caring people are ready to step in and help. Right now, the best thing you can do is spread the word, check on friends/family/neighbors, and allow emergency crews to do their work safely. As community needs become clearer, there will surely be ways we can all work together.
