Memorial Day is a time for our nation to pause in remembrance of the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice represents the very foundation of the freedoms we enjoy each day, and this holiday serves as an important reminder that freedom is never free.

We extend our deepest appreciation to all veterans, active-duty military members, and military families whose service and sacrifice continue to strengthen our nation.

It was great having a Cracker Barrel session on all things clerk -related, a presentation from Sam and Brittany from All Voting is Local and finished off with an update from Wisconsin Elections Commission staff. Great discussions, learning and networking(lunch and homemade cookies/bars too)!

Happy Mother’s Day from the Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association! 💐

Today, we celebrate the many incredible mothers, grandmothers, caregivers, and motherly role models who are part of the WMCA family. Municipal clerks are no strangers to wearing many hats, balancing countless responsibilities, and always showing up with compassion, dedication, strength, and heart, both at work and at home.

Whether it’s caring for families, supporting coworkers and communities, or serving the public with professionalism and kindness, the women of our profession continually give so much of themselves to others. Their patience, resilience, and leadership do not go unnoticed.

To all those who nurture, guide, encourage, and inspire others every day, thank you for everything you do. We wish you a Mother’s Day filled with love, appreciation, and special moments with those who matter most. 🌸
