Cassie joins the foster care team after spending the last 9 years with Child Protection Initial Assessment. She will spend most of her time licensing relative and like-kin provides and will also support general foster homes. We are happy to have her! Welcome Cassie!!

Our Community Needs You.

We have a group of ladies that meet at our Pulaski Adult Activity Center and create beautiful quilts that are donated to EPH (Ecumenical Partnership Housing) and Brown County Foster Care. They need Fabric!

You can clean out your closets and rooms while helping our Pulaski Faithful help many many people in Brown County. Win-Win-Win

Get your fabric to the Pulaski Adult Activity Center or the PACE office.

Can't get it there, No excuses, call Mark at 920-822-6050. He and the PACE Peeps will come and pick it up.

Frequently Asked Questions about Foster Care!

❓ I don’t own my own home
That’s fine! We have foster parents who live in apartments, rentals, or own their homes. If you have the space for a child in your home and want to help, connect with us to learn more!

❓ I’m a single person
We have foster parents with all kinds of relationship statuses including single, married, engaged, or dating.

❓ I don’t have a separate room for foster children
Foster children are able to share a room with your biological children. There are restrictions on age and gender for children to share a room, which we can discuss in more detail if you are interested. Also, children under 1 can share a bedroom with the parent(s) in the home.

❓ I can only take one child
This is perfectly fine! Any space to care for a child in our community is appreciated; you don’t need to have space for several children in order to be a successful foster parent.

❓ I would need childcare / I work during the day
Foster parents are eligible for daycare assistance and are able to enroll children in daycare as needed. Foster parents can also utilize natural supports (family, friends, etc.) to assist.

❓ I’m not sure where to get started

Caring for children who have experienced trauma can be deeply rewarding, but it can also be emotionally and physically demanding. Caregivers of all kinds often focus so much on supporting children through big emotions that they neglect their own needs. Here are several simple strategies that can help caregivers stay grounded and show up as their best selves for the children in their care.
