Why Foster.....

“We made the leap and became foster parents because children need love and stable homes and care in our community! Sadly, there are a growing number of kids in need. Being foster parents is the BEST THING WE HAVE EVER DONE! The best part of fostering is the daily love and joy the kids bring. There are so many joyous, beautiful moments. Kids bring a lot to any family. Yes, there are also hard moments that are normal for their age, as well as issues related to trauma the kids experienced that brought them into the foster system. It’s worth it, even with the challenges. Foster kids need to be loved. They need to feel safe and that they can trust you. They need the usual things like food and clothing and shelter, but it’s really the emotional safety and CONNECTION that brings them to life.”
