🟢 NEW COMMUNITY AODA COUNSELING OPPORTUNITY — GREEN BAY 🟡

Restoring Hope Ministries is grateful to announce that, with support from a 2026 Green Bay Packers Foundation grant, we are able to provide up to 33 AODA counseling sessions for individuals in our community who need support.

These sessions will be provided by Dr. Jeffrey Gross, SAC-IT and are intended to help individuals experiencing substance-use concerns and related life challenges.

This opportunity is needs-based. Our goal is simple: use these funded sessions where they can make a meaningful difference for people who may otherwise have difficulty accessing care.

Sessions may help individuals:

Address alcohol or other substance-use concerns
Explore patterns contributing to addiction or continued use
Develop healthier recovery and life strategies
Navigate co-occurring emotional or mental-health concerns
Build stability, connection, hope, and a sustainable path forward

💚 Up to 33 community-funded sessions are available.

Introduction to Strongholds
A 3-Credit Course at Restoring Hope School of Biblical Counseling

Course begins September 15, 2026.

What are strongholds? How do deeply rooted beliefs, destructive patterns, spiritual struggles, fear, shame, and private interpretations influence the way we think and live?

Introduction to Strongholds will guide students through a careful biblical examination of strongholds and the renewing power of truth. Rooted in Scripture, students will explore how patterns of thought and behavior develop, how false beliefs are confronted, and how biblical counselors can encourage lasting spiritual formation without relying on simplistic answers.

Throughout this course, students will examine:

• A biblical understanding of spiritual strongholds
• The relationship between beliefs, emotions, and behavior
• Lies, shame, fear, temptation, and destructive patterns
• Renewing the mind through Scripture and truth
• The importance of grace, repentance, prayer, and Christian community
• Responsible application within biblical counseling and ministry
• Encouraging freedom while maintaining humility and sound biblical care
