"My husband and I have been donors for several years, and I have also been a volunteer and program recipient for many years. Stewardship is how we live our lives, and we believe strongly in giving to those in need in whatever ways we can. I'm grateful to be employed by Grand Island TeamMates and also volunteer for them. I see daily the impact this program has on our youth, and have been privy to many, many success stories in matches. My sister-in-law volunteered for Literacy Council of Grand Island Board for a long time, and through her we learned what a great and much-needed organization this is, so we donate to them, too. 🎃 We need your trunk!

Calling all businesses, organizations, clubs, and community groups! Join the Literacy Council of Grand Island for our Trunk-or-Treat!

🕟 4:30–6:30 p.m.

Bring your team, decorate your car, and hand out treats while connecting with local families. Costumes encouraged! 🍬

📻 Fiesta 94.5 FM will be here raffling off prizes, and we’ll be sharing books for a little Halloween reading magic! 📚

Can’t host a trunk? You can still help by donating candy for us to pass out! Drop off donations at our office:
