SPONSORS NEEDED!

Want to help support our Girls Exploring Together (GET) Outdoors program? We are looking for businesses to sponsor this program for just $250 each so we can continue to adventure with and empower some amazing girls in 3rd - 9th grade.

If your daughter has participated in a GET Outdoors program with Ms. Jackie in the past, please consider reaching out to a local business owner and sharing her experience or just comment here with her experience and tag local businesses! We are planning some really cool things with these girls this school year but in order to do so, we really need help financially to keep the costs low for the participants!

Our 5th & 6th Grade Cross Country Program kicks off next Tuesday, September 8! 🎉

After a summer without new ninjas, we're ready to launch some new martial artists!

NORA is once again partnering with Lakeshore Taekwondo Academy to offer Intro to Tiger Tots (ages 3-5) and Intro to Taekwondo (ages 5.5+). 6 weeks of training meeting once a week and then your little ninja will get to show off their skills at a Saturday morning belt test on November 14.

These programs have been very popular for those interested in trying a martial arts program but not sure if they want to commit to a full program.

Well, folks, that's a wrap on Summer 2026 - the summer we spent in nature! This week, we did one final hurrah with Outdoor Recreation Explorers Camp! Archery, fishing, kayaking & biking - oh my!

Here's my final thank you post of the summer -
Thank you to North Ottawa Rod & Gun Club for the new incredible archery range! It is absolutely beautiful and such a great space for our kids to grow their love of archery!
Thank you to Crispy Outdoors for a summer of good bait and fishing advice!
Thank you to Lakeshore Kayak Rental for supplying the boats so we could spend the maximum amount of time on the water paddling!
Thank you to all local parks employees and volunteers who maintained parks and trails for our hikes, bikes and geocaching adventures!

And a very very special thank you to Ms Corinne Majka for helping with so many Outdoor Recreation camps this summer! It wouldn't have been the same without you! ♥️

5th & 6th Grade Cross Country is coming up!

Our 5th/6th Grade Cross Country Program begins Tuesday, September 8!

The program will meet every Tuesday and Thursday, weather permitting, immediately after school at White Pines Intermediate School from 4:00–5:30 PM.

Whether your child is an experienced runner or new to cross country, we’d love to have them join us this fall!

Fall baseball practices officially begin today!

This year, we have grown to 157 players and 14 teams throughout the league! We have players from Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Coopersville, Zeeland, Fruitport, Mona Shores, Reeths Puffer, Ravenna, and Oakridge!

*For families who are scheduled for practice tonight. Please be aware that there is a potential for weather in the area. If we need to make any announcements, we will do so via email and on our page as early as we can.*

Our first ever Grand Fun Mini-Bowling and Adventure Camp was a success! In 4 days, these campers got >8 games of mini bowling, Lazer Frenzy, Skee Ball, Air Hockey, Racing Games and more plus they connected with new friends while they were there which is always a plus! Super huge thanks to Grand Fun for hosting this camp and for delivering the fun!

If you haven't been here yet, we definitely recommend checking it out!

Due to incoming rain, adult pickleball at Schmidt Heritage Park has been cancelled.

For now, COED softball and adult co****le are still on as scheduled.
