Lighthouse Quilt Guild

Lighthouse Quilt Guild LHQG is for anyone who loves to quilt. We have 130 members with varied interests. We have speakers, workshops and a quilt show.

We meet the 2nd Monday of the month at the Church of the Dunes in Grand Haven, MI. Social time at 6:00, the meeting at 6:30. We meet the 2nd Monday of the month at the United Church of the Dunes in Grand Haven, Michigan. Social time begins at 6:00 and the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.

Our speaker for May was Nancy Roelfsema who talked about "Why we Quilt". She gave a wonderful slideshow of the quilts she has made and gifted to others and a bit of history of why she quilts. She also showed us many of her quilts that she either teaches as a class, at a retreat, on a you tube video, or has written instructions. It was a great night of learning and enjoying the reasons why we all quilt. Check out her website and videos at Quilting with Nancy.
