What an inspiring and energizing afternoon at the WomanUp & Celebrate West Michigan Luncheon powered by Michigan Women Forward!

Executive Director Sarah and Director of Strategic Initiatives Stephanie joined an incredible gathering of women leaders, advocates, and changemakers from across West Michigan.

A special moment of the day was recognizing and celebrating Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks for her remarkable service, leadership, and courage. For Stephanie, the recognition was especially meaningful, having previously served on SML Brinks' team. The SML's courage, dedication, and kindness have inspired so many - including Stephanie personally - and her leadership continues to leave a lasting impact.

Congratulations and thank you, SML Brinks, for your service, leadership, support and the example you continue to set for current and future generations of women.

And thank you to our friends at Haworth for graciously welcoming us to your table and helping make the luncheon such a memorable experience. A special shoutout to Shelley Irwin for keeping the energy high and serving as a fantastic emcee throughout the event! It was also wonderful to catch up with Chef Jenna - one of the many familiar faces that helped make the afternoon so special.

Executive Director Sarah Lewakowski recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner by Chef Jenna at Amore Trattoria Italiana thanks to Dusti Hillis, owner of Down To Earth Boutique, who generously won the experience through Our Cabaret Silent Auction.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Yoga & Wellness event in support of Mental Health Awareness Month. 💚

It was a wonderful evening of movement, mindfulness, connection, and community.

A special thank you to Board Secretary Sholeh Veiseh for leading the yoga session and sharing her expertise, and to Board Member Jane Patterson for joining us in support of this event. We are fortunate to have dedicated board members who are passionate about advancing mental health and wellness in our community.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to SportHouse Athletic Center for providing a welcoming space for this gathering.

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, the conversation doesn’t stop here. Mental health matters every day of the year, and we remain committed to supporting the well-being of individuals, families, and our community through education, connection, and compassionate care.

We had the sweetest surprise at our Grand Haven office this week!

One of our incredible panel therapists, Guy Flom, MA, LLC with Second Story Counseling, stopped by with thoughtful appreciation gifts for each member of our staff. His kindness brightened our day and served as a wonderful reminder of the caring community that makes Mosaic so special.

We are incredibly fortunate to work alongside such a talented, compassionate, and dedicated panel of therapists. Their commitment to supporting the well-being of others is at the heart of everything we do, and we truly could not fulfill our mission without them.

Thank you, Guy, for your generosity, thoughtfulness, and for bringing a little extra joy to our team. We are grateful to have you as part of the Mosaic family!

Our Executive Director Sarah and Director of Strategic Initiatives Stephanie Szymas were grateful to attend the sold-out Annual Luncheon celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area.

The afternoon highlighted decades of impact across our community, including inspiring updates on donor service funds, recent grants, and the incredible achievements of Promise scholars. It was powerful to reflect on 75 years of generosity, partnership, and vision dedicated to strengthening the Holland and Zeeland communities.

At Mosaic Counseling, we are so appreciative to be a recipient of support from CFHZ and proud to partner alongside an organization that continues investing in the wellbeing of our community. Their trust in our mission allows us to continue expanding access to mental health services and creating meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

It was also wonderful connecting with so many passionate community leaders, including Mosaic Counseling board member Claudia and Holland City Commissioner Klomparens.

We are grateful for their courage, selflessness, and dedication, and we hold close the families, loved ones, and communities who carry their memory forward each day.

We were happy to attend the Ottawa County Community Walk for Mental Health in support of Mental Health Awareness Month alongside our valued community partners Ottawa County and Community Mental Health of Ottawa County.

Executive Director Sarah and Director of Strategic Initiatives Stephanie were grateful to join community members, local organizations, and advocates dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and increasing access to support and resources across our region. 💚

Thank you to our partners who helped make this event possible and to all who continue working to support mental health awareness, wellness, and recovery throughout Ottawa County and beyond.
