ULEAD CEO Jenny had the opportunity to be one of the keynote speakers Michigan AfterSchool Association at last week’s conference, sharing an important message about the power of connection. But she didn’t just talk about connection—she created it!

Jenny brought the whole room together to connect, laugh, play, and experience firsthand what happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and valued. What a great reminder that sometimes the most meaningful connections happen when we simply take the time to be present, have fun, and engage with one another. 💙🧡

A pretty fun way to spend the morning!

We played, we laughed, we learned, and we talked all things student engagement! There was lots of energy in the room, plenty of participation, and hopefully a few fresh ideas to take back and try out. Because when learning is fun, people lean in!

Here we are, practicing what we preach and making professional development a priority with a good old-fashioned book club!📚

We’re also staying true to the concepts of the book by doing exactly what it encourages us to do: putting the ideas into practice—and, of course, posting about it on social media for everyone to see and appreciate. 😉😆

We’re always learning, growing, and finding ways to become better leaders together. Because professional development isn’t just something we facilitate—it’s something we believe in for ourselves, too!

Based on the work of Pat Lencioni, Working Genius is a framework that helps people better understand how they naturally contribute as individuals and how those strengths come together to build stronger, more effective teams.

We love seeing teams lean into learning, laughter, and a little self-discovery along the way! 🙌

The KEYS program in Kosciusko County Community Foundation empowers young leaders to impact and improve education and future generations. This group works closely together and to support their collaboration, we hosted a True Colors temperament assessment and watched them grow in their individuality and group dynamics.

Plus... there was a lot of laughter, dancing, and fun!
