Declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012, the International Day of Charity is observed annually on September 5 to raise awareness and encourage charitable efforts worldwide.

The date marks the anniversary of the death of Mother Teresa, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 for her work fighting poverty and distress.

For the International Day of Charity, we are asking for donations for the Tiny Pantry at Center for Healing & Hope. Together, we can do our part to feed the hungry and care for the impoverished.

The pantry is located behind Center for Healing & Hope and is always unlocked. You may place items directly into the pantry at your convenience, or you may make a monetary donation designated for the Tiny Pantry.

Donate or view a list of suggested items here: https://chhclinics.org/tiny-pantry/

"Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love."
-Mother Teresa

Center for Healing & Hope administers the Goshen Resident ID, or GRID, card. The GRID card is for anyone who lives in the city of Goshen. It verifies the identity and address of the card holder. This municipal ID card is particularly helpful for residents who are unable to get a driver's license or other form of official identification.

Register for your GRID card today by calling (574) 534-4744 ext. 209 or by texting or sending a Whatsapp message with the word "GRID" to (574) 205-9425.

For those who already have a form of identification, having your own GRID card is a symbol of solidarity for the program and those who rely on it to show they are part of our community.

Missy posting here with some well-deserved accolades for the best CRUW Cardboard Boat Race Parking Attendant ever! Daniel won't share this himself because he's too modest, but it deserves recognition! Congrats, on receiving the First Mate Award this year - and for all of your great work at CHH and in the community at large.
