🎳 Volunteer Call: Special Olympics Wayne County Bowling Practice Days!

Special Olympics Wayne County is looking for volunteers to help with our Bowling Practice Days! 🎉

It’s a bit last minute, but we truly need your help to make these practices a success for our incredible athletes. Your time and support make a real difference — helping create a fun, inclusive, and encouraging environment for everyone involved.

📅 When: October 8th and October 9th
⏰ Times: 8:45 am - 12:15 pm
📍 Where: AMF Bowling Alley - 105 s Berkeley Blvd.

Rocket Car Wash on Wayne Memorial, Goldsboro, completed a fundraiser for Tim Tebow sponsored Night To Shine Goldsboro in July.
They are going to present Goldsboro's Night to Shine committee & First Baptist Church Goldsboro with the check on Tuesday August 13 at 3:00.
The Night to Shine committee would like anyone who is a part of Night to Shine to attend the presentation. Any questions, please ask below.

Just a reminder to everyone who wanted to register for Night to Shine, Goldsboro, NC sponsored by TimtebowFoundation and hosted by First Baptist Church Goldsboro needs to do so and return it no later than December 8. All registrations are online and can be found on the night to shine website as well as the First Baptist Church Goldsboro website. the prom will be held at the Maxwell Center in Goldsboro on February 9, 2024 at 6 PM. Look forward to seeing all of you and walking that red carpet into the ballroom!  registration for volunteers are at the same website. Registrations for volunteers are also due by December 8, 2023.

Fun and games are over! It is back on the and the planes this early morning PST and fly home. We leave Reno with having made new friends and a bowling adventure we will NEVER forget! Thank you goes to SONC and especially to Chuck and Tappy Dillenger for their coaching expertise, assistance with bowling balls, traveling long distances, patience and love for our special Olympic athletes! You are the best! Thanks also goes to Emani Mcduffie for being there to help with Heather Pardue bowling ball and friendship 🤟. Prayers are requested for safe travel home🙏. Great weather to fly in and quick layovers. We are blessed and thankful for this trip for Heather and I to participate in these games.
