We had an amazing fun filled day today. First we were surprised by a few of our finest, the Goldsboro Police Dept. They visited the kids, passed out stickers and took some photos with us. Then we after lunch we had our visit with the firefighters of Station 2 of the Goldsboro Fire Dept. They talked to the kids about who to call, stop drop and roll, and showed the kids that they are not scary in their gear. Then we got to see the truck and hear the sirens and take pictures with them wearing our on special helmets. Thank you to the men and women that help protect our community!

We have a bunch of smart little kids but we failed to take pictures of the kids enjoying their smarties for National Smarties Day. In turn the big kids worked on their numbers and building with marbles. They did take time out of their day to make Mr. Tom, our custodian, a thank you note because today is always National Custodian Day and he does a great job of of making our place look good.

Today is National Johnny Appleseed Day so yesterday we celebrated by enjoying some yummy apples, working on different coloring sheets, and watching a short film about Johnny Appleseed. The kids had a blast!

Attention Parents: We are getting new mulch for our playground 😊! It has been placed on the outside beside the fence so just be cautious during drop off and pick up time for tomorrow.
