Highway Clean up #3, it was a wet & chilly morning yet we had 16 volunteers participating in the clean up; our biggest turnout yet!!! Thanks to GHS JROTC students, Members of the Goldsboro Rotary Club & Friends & Family of the late Loki Allen for serving. This is what we do "Service Above Self." A big thank you to all the persons who participated in our first highway clean-up project. We joined the NC Adopt-A-Highway program and dedicated it in memory of our Honorary Interact Member Loki Allen, who passed away a few years ago. Loki was an Environmental Advocate. We continue the work of Loki today by participating in the program, adopting sections of Salem Church Road between A St and Lane Tree Country Club. We will have 3 more clean ups before the end of the year. Looking forward to your participation next time.
