To promote and encourage scholarships and opportunities for higher education among LR residents

Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $9.2 million in scholarships to more than 6,100 recipients since 1956. Scholarship applications can be downloaded right from our website www.lrscholarship.org. The applications require a copy of your FAFSA, transcript, community and work activities, and personal essay similar to those you have written for college applications. Thank you to

Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation is celebrating 70 years of awarding scholarships to Lakes Region students attending higher education.

What began as a small act of generosity has grown into a remarkable community effort. Thanks to the support of 294 donors, we will award more than $𝟭 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝟰𝟬𝟭 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 pursuing higher education this year.

Look for us at your local high school award ceremonies! We will post pictures in the coming weeks.

Congratulations to all our students!

If you do not receive a packet at an award ceremony, you will receive one in the mail.
