We are so proud to support over 80 nonprofits that are making majoir impact in our commuunity. Check out this video that Dose of Good Podcast recently created to give you an inside look at the work The Mayhew Program is doing.

Our mission is to engage the community to financially support local children and families in need with a vision to raise awareness among community members about the needs of local children and families, encouraging and empowering positive impact throughout the Lakes Region.

The Mayhew Program is a tuition-free, year-round youth development organization specifically designed for at-risk boys. It combines an intensive residential summer experience on Mayhew Island with consistent year-round mentoring in the boys' home communities. Founded over 50 years ago, it focuses on helping boys ages 10 to 18 develop respect, responsibility, community, and resilience through long-term support. Today I speak with Executive Director Peter Saliba and Engagement Manager Laura Brusseau. I hope you enjoy today's episode and learning about this special place.

For the fourth year in a row, the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Fund invites the community to celebrate Christmas in July — a one-of-a-kind evening aboard the M/S Mount Washington filled with festive fun, entertainment, and generosity.

Join us on Thursday, July 9 from 6:30–9:30 PM for a summer celebration with holiday spirit, all while helping raise critical funds to support local children and families in need.
