How I’m feeling right now because IM THE TOP FUNDRAISER for the American Heart Association in the NATION!❤️

To all my family and friends that helped support me and my goal, I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve contributed! I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this goal without each and every one of you!

I’m going into Miss America with various goals and one was to be recognized as the top fundraiser for AHA! This is a cause that means so much to me and many might not know why! So I thought I’d share a little bit of my story as I thank every single donor!

When I was 6 years old, I lost my grandfather to cardiac arrest after he had experienced previous cardiac events. More recently, one of my close family friends developed a disease that attacked her heart, making her heart function consistently decrease. Just last week, she was able to received the incredible gift of a new heart and is now on the road to recovery. Heart disease has also impacted both of my brothers. My oldest brother was born with a heart murmur that was successfully treated, and my other brother was diagnosed with a heart condition that caused his heart to beat extremely fast. Thankfully, both received the care they needed and have made full recoveries!

These experiences have shown me just how many families are touched by heart disease and why supporting research, education, and lifesaving care through the American Heart Association means so much to me! Thank you so much again!
