🥾🌄 SEPTEMBER HIKE REMINDER 🥾🌄
Alright Veterans… friendly reminder that our September LRVC hike is coming up fast, and we need everyone to sign up before the trail decides to go on without you.

Last hike, we had:
One Marine trying to out‑pace gravity
One Army Vet negotiating with a rock like it owed him money
A Navy Vet (me) wondering why the trail didn’t come with a ship’s ladder
And a whole squad of us outrunning rain like it was incoming artillery

This time, we’re aiming for:
Fewer “I swear this hill wasn’t here last time” moments
More laughs
More camaraderie
And maybe… MAYBE… someone actually bringing snacks that aren’t crushed in their pack

What a beautiful day in the Lakes Region. Thank you to all who got a chance to sign up for our Sailing Event and to the Lake Winnipesaukee Sailing Association. We had a blast and for those that couldn't attend we hope to see you at one of our other events.

🔥 LRVC October Hike🔥
Alright 🪖, listen up — LRVC is launching another high‑speed, low‑drag operation, and this time the objective is Stonehouse Pond Overlook, Ledges & Locke Loop.

This mission is classified as Easy… with optional veteran-level complaining, so yes — you can absolutely bring your “my knees ain’t what they used to be” soundtrack.

We step off Saturday, Oct 17th, 1030–1230, and intel confirms:

• Zero rucks
• Zero formations
• Zero chance of getting smoked by a drill instructor
• 100% chance of trail banter that would confuse civilians

Expect scenic ledges, 🤯 views, and at least one yelling “Hoo‑rah!” at a tree for no reason. Oh, and the occasional 🫡 to the 🐿️that's keeping overwatch. So, if you are tired and bored from 🧹away all this New Hampshire ☀️, then come on out and join us. We would love to hear your funniest eyewitness accounts.

Bring your 🥾, your hydration, and your best “I survived PT in 1998” attitude.

Families welcome. Supporters welcome. Even that one Army buddy who still thinks he’s airborne… welcome.
