Gilbert Sister Cities is a community supported, non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to promoting cultural understanding and stimulating economic development opportunities for the youth, adults, businesses and organizations of the Town of Gilbert through mutually beneficial international partnerships.

Any interested juniors and their families are welcome to join us at Information Night on August 27 or September 15 at 7 PM at the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce.

Yesterday, we said goodbye to our Youth Ambassadors from Leshan after an amazing summer. While we will miss our friends, we are so grateful for the memories!!

Last week, our Youth Ambassadors toured the Gilbert Public Safety Training Facility with our Leshan visitors. They each got a chance to put out a mock fire and watch a pit maneuver, as well as chat with council members Yung Koprowski and Chuck Bongiovanni. Thank you to Gilbert Police and Fire for having us again!

This week, our Youth Ambassadors and their partners from Leshan met with the Young River People’s Council from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community to learn more about their culture. Thank you for hosting us again!

Our Youth Ambassadors to Antrim-Newtownabbey arrived home this evening after three weeks in Northern Ireland! Thank you to their amazing host families and our sister city, AN Borough Council for taking care of our students. We can’t wait to hear all about their adventures!

Our Youth Ambassadors have arrived home with their partners from Leshan! After a 24 hour travel day, they arrived home at 11 PM and headed straight to an IHOP midnight breakfast. We can’t wait to show them around Gilbert!
