June is National Cancer Survivors Month. Let’s celebrate every survivor who continues to show up for appointments, pushing through side effects, navigating the uncertainty, and finding joy in the middle of it all.

Survivorship isn’t just about beating cancer, it’s about living beyond it.

We tell people to “be strong,” or “stay positive,” but then wonder why so many people suffer in silence.

The truth behind that is, people heal when they feel safe enough to talk. People open up when they feel supported instead of judged.

Checking on your mental health should be just as normal as checking on your physical health.

The mental health stigma has to end.

It makes me sad that so many people still feel like they have to suffer quietly. Or struggling emotionally is something to hide.

When mental health feels off-limits, people stop feeling safe to open up, ask for help, or be honest about what they are truly feeling and caring each day. Especially during hard seasons of life like breast cancer.
Support shouldn’t feel uncomfortable to talk about. The more we normalize these conversations, the more people realize they are not alone.

You are not alone. 💕

heartfelt thank you for supporting The Nancy Gardner Sewell Medicare Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act.

This important legislation will allow Medicare to cover FDA-approved Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) screenings, helping expand access to early detection and potentially saving countless lives through earlier diagnosis and treatment.

Early detection is so important in diagnosing cancers, because it can lead to earlier intervention, more treatment options, and improved outcomes for patients and families navigating cancer.

Hello lovely ladies! Join us for our next support group on May 26th from 7-9pm.

Life can easily fall into routine and repetition. Waking up, going from point A to point B, rinse and repeat. Join us for a meaningful and fun meeting focused on breaking out of autopilot and living with more intention and wonder.

Break the routine.
Spark new energy.
Try new things.

Hope to see you there! 💖

I recently listened to a podcast by Mel Robbins about friendships and deeper human connection. One thing that really stood out to me was the idea that a healthy life includes three important parts:
💪🏼Physical health-our bodies
🧠Mental health-our minds
🤗Social health-our relationships

Research has shown that strong friendships and meaningful connection can impact our mental and emotional well-being.

Part of our mission at Brightly Living is to connect and empower women while navigating breast cancer from diagnosis, through treatment, and well into survivorship.

Sitting with other women, supporting one another makes you realize you’re not alone in this journey. And that right there is incredibly valuable. 💕
