Our Sunshine Bags are filled with goodies to help women feel comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that no one faces breast cancer alone.

Every one of our bags are delivered by a breast cancer survivor on our Sunshine Bag Committee. Because connection with other survivors is what we need on this journey. 🫶🏻

Every survivor has a story, and that story has the power to help someone else feel less alone.

Join us on Tuesday, June 23rd, from 7:00–9:00pm as we watch two recorded breast cancer survivor stories who shared their journeys on stage through Amplified Voices “Beyond Breast Cancer.”

Following the videos, we’ll open the conversation up to share our own story and discuss the importance of using our voices to inspire hope and provide support for others navigating a similar journey.
If you’re ready to share your own story or just simply listen, we invite you to join us for an evening of connection, courage, and community.

You never know someone may need to hear exactly what you’ve lived through. 💗

I just got back from the beach and the ocean always calms me and helps me reset. The rhythm of the waves can really help us all synchronize our breathing. Studies even show that being near or in the water can reduce stress and anxiety. The sea air, the wave sounds it, all helps improve your mental well being. Maybe that’s why people are so chill at the beach 🤙🏼 😜

The ocean reminds us that waves come and go, like the problems we face.

Some days can feel calm.
Some days feel overwhelming.
Some days feel like you’re drowning.

Wherever you’re at today, give yourself grace.

Breathe in as the wave rises and exhale as it crashes into the sand. 🌊 💗

Last month at our support group, we had the privilege of hearing from our very own Stacy Fuller as she shared how she has learned to truly live in the moment. We talked about taking leaps of faith, and adding a little more variety to our lives.

Stacy created a special “Spice of Life” booklet for each of us to work through. While we can create our own list, she included a variety of ideas to inspire us this summer. Some are simple like enjoying a watermelon on a warm day, while others are adventurous, like going kayaking. As we complete each activity, we check it off and celebrate the experience.

The booklet also gives us a place to reflect on the “spices” we’ve already added to our lives and the ones we’d still like to try. The goal is simple: to add meaning, depth, and joy to our lives while having fun along the way.

It was such an uplifting discussion reminding us all to live with intention and make the most of the life we’ve been given. 🫶🏻💗

We tell people to “be strong,” or “stay positive,” but then wonder why so many people suffer in silence.

The truth behind that is, people heal when they feel safe enough to talk. People open up when they feel supported instead of judged.

Checking on your mental health should be just as normal as checking on your physical health.

The mental health stigma has to end.
