If you are new to 4-H and would like to be added to the mailing list to receive our monthly newsletter please fill out an enrollment form and mail to the Scott County Extension Office at 1130 Cincinnati Road, Georgetown, 40324. The enrollment form can be printed off the website listed below.

Hello Everyone!

As you might have seen in this month's 4-H Newsletter, we are holding a second round of Fair Project Classes between May 12th-14th! We still have open spots available for those who would like to participate.

Classes include:
May 12th - Floor Plans
Have an interest in design or architecture? Come create your own dream home floor plan!
May 13th - Dreamcatchers
Learn the history and craft your own Dreamcatcher
May 14th - Snickerdoodle
Enjoy cooking or baking? Come practice the official 4-H recipe for Snickerdoodle Cookies!

All classes will be held at the Extension Office from 4pm-6pm and are completely free. If you'd like to sign up for one session or all three, please call the Extension Office at 502-863-0984. We hope to have you all out for a fun evening of creativity!

This past week four Scott County 4-Hers got to take the trip of a lifetime to see the 250th Anniversary of the country through the C3-C4 4-H Founding Footsteps Trip. We got to explore Boston, New York, and Philadelphia and experience the American Revolution.

What a weekend for our livestock Skillathon and Quizbowl teams! Our Junior Quizbowl team placed 2nd with our Senior team placing 1st! For Skillathon, both the Junior and Senior teams took 1st place! We are so proud of all the hard work they have put in and it sure has paid off! Please join me in congratulating them! 🍀
