We are thrilled to celebrate the release of Greg Earwood’s new book, "Memorable Mountains in Matthew." With the eye of a scholar and the heart of a pastor, Greg guides readers through these sacred spaces where heaven and earth draw close, offering thoughtful biblical insight alongside the deep wisdom shaped through decades of ministry, prayer, and faithful service. His book is both intellectually engaging and spiritually enriching — whether you are studying Matthew for the first time or returning to these stories with new questions and fresh curiosity.

We give thanks for Greg’s ministry, scholarship, and faithful witness among us, and we are excited to celebrate this wonderful accomplishment with him! Greg will be preaching at Faith on Sunday, July 12, and we will have a reception and book-signing celebration with him following worship. At Easter, we celebrate a Love that is stronger than death and the resurrection that changed the world forever over 2000 years ago. But we also celebrate Easter because we believe that God is still in the business of bringing about new life, all these years later. And as people who follow in the ways of Jesus, we are invited to live into this kind of life. To be people who “practice resurrection,” as Wendell Berry once wrote.

And so, for the Easter season, we are going to be asking ourselves – what would it look like to practice resurrection?

Today marks 🌟 ONE YEAR 🌟 with Mary Alice as our Interim Preaching Pastor! It’s a double celebration because her birthday was yesterday! 🎉 We are so thankful for Mary Alice and her thoughtful words, pastoral presence, and joyful spirit. She serves our family of Faith with the perfect combination of strength and care we need during this interim season. Thank you, Mary Alice, for all you do for us and mean to us…and happy birthday! 💜
