United We Stand! ❤️🤍💙

What an incredible weekend at the Special Olympics Track & Field State Games! Our team was proud to have 15 amazing athletes represent our program, demonstrating determination, sportsmanship, courage, and heart every step of the way.

This year’s theme, “United We Stand,” was evident throughout the games as athletes, coaches, families, volunteers, and supporters came together to celebrate!

We could not be more proud of our athletes and all they accomplished. Their dedication and perseverance continue to inspire us every day.

A special thank you to our incredible coaches for the countless hours of preparation and support, and to the parents and families whose encouragement makes these opportunities possible. Your commitment and belief in our athletes help make moments like these unforgettable.

Congratulations to all of our athletes on a fantastic State Games experience. United We Stand, and together we achieve great things! ❤️🏅💙

We are all saddened to learn of the passing of our friend, former colleague and Special Olympics athlete Leigh Ann Fallis. For more than 20 years, Leigh Ann served as the part-time receptionist at our Frankfort office, and for many unfailingly cheerful voice was the one voice people heard as they started their Special Olympics journey. Even after she retired last April, Leigh Ann continued to come to the office as a volunteer. Her Special Olympics competition career spanned 25 years and included basketball, bowling, golf, softball and swimming. Her competitive spirit carried beyond the field into years of fundraising. Through her annual Polar Plunge and SOKY raffles, Leigh Ann raised well over $10,000 to support her fellow athletes. Leigh Ann exemplified everything it meant to be a Special Olympics athlete and her love for the program was always evident. She will be greatly missed.

If your athlete is going to participate in state, I need their money ($25) by next week! I also need to know if they are going to participate or not in state! if you have already given me this information wonderful—-if not, please let me know ASAP! Thank you!
