Kentucky households can apply for LIHEAP Spring Subsidy from April 20 to May 22, 2026, to help offset cooling costs as the temperatures rise.

Eligible households with income up to 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines may qualify for assistance with their electric bills. This program provides a one-time electric benefit, paid directly to the household’s electric vendor. No disconnect notice, past-due bill, or eviction notice is required to apply.

Assistance received during previous LIHEAP components does not affect eligibility. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, or until funds are depleted.

Contact your local Community Action Agency to apply. To find your local outreach office, visit capky.org/network or call 800-456-3452.

Everybody Counts helps qualifying seniors graduating from participating Kentucky school districts develop a post-graduation plan to get a job or pursue higher education.
