Cyclones Amateur Hockey Association - Watch our video! http://vimeo.com/67554899 Our Cyclones vision is to strengthen our community through the game of hockey.

We want to teach our children that having the ability and opportunity to compete and play sport is a privilege. The victors will be those that have strong family values and community pride. Such accomplishments can only be attained with respect, pride, and harmony.

Our managers have been working HARD at setting up the season’s schedule (among all their other duties!!).

A lot of behind the scenes work:
-setting up sign up sheets,
-connecting with other teams,
-rescheduling already existing games (sometimes a few times…),
-finding tournaments,
-trading ice times,
-setting up hotel blocks & social events.

They are the unsung heroes while also juggling their own personal & professional lives.

THANK YOU to every single team manager that dedicates their time & put in so much effort into their teams.

You all rock💙🏒

18U took on the Komets for their home opener and was quite literally a battle until the final buzzer! Despite the last second goal they FOUGHT hard💪🏻

Both teams were having so much fun they needed a little break in the penalty box at the same time😂

We’re all still riding on the high from an incredible weekend celebrating Girls Hockey!

To honor 𝐈𝐈𝐇𝐅 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐲 weekend there was fun decor, snacks, bracelet and poster making, along with goodie bags for the players.

The craft table was such a hit, where we had players from 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 together. It was great to see kids teaching each other and even taking supplies to continue crafting after the event!

Saturday both our 10U & 12U girls teams took the ice!

Our 10U faced the Chiefs and battled hard the entire time! The team had fun showing Cyclones pride by skating out with the Cyclones flag during warm ups!

The 12U girls took the ice against Lady Liberty in a hard fought battle. Shoutout to the Goalie Lily who had incredible saves! We had a first happen too. Coach Jeff made an impressive Game Day Warrior Hat (all via 3D printer!!) and awarded it to Nejra for her first goal ever!

The celebration continued on Sunday where 10U took on the ice against Lady Liberty. The players continue to impress us with their strength and determination!

We also took the weekend to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month - handing out pink ribbons, taping pink tape to helmets along to their sticks🩷

This weekend wouldn’t have been successful without our 3 Girls Managers, Aubrey, Heather and Meliha plus all the volunteers!

Thank you for a memorable weekend cheering on all of our girls players, definitely one for the books!

Keep it up boys! 💙💛
