Calling All Barbers & Stylists!

Do you have a passion for helping others and a talent for making people look and feel their best? We're looking for volunteer barbers and stylists to join us at our Back to School Bash and help local students start the school year with confidence!

A fresh haircut or hairstyle can make a world of difference in a child's self-esteem. By donating a few hours of your time, you can help students walk into their classrooms feeling proud, prepared, and ready to succeed.

We're seeking licensed barbers and stylists willing to provide free haircuts and basic hairstyles for children attending the event.

Our certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will:
✅ Inspect your child's current car seat for proper installation
✅ Teach you how to correctly install and use your car seat
✅ Answer any child passenger safety questions
✅ Provide free car seats to eligible families while supplies last

National Volunteer Week!

It has been such a blessing to be able to serve with some amazing students of La Porte ISD . Through the years, La Porte High School 's Interact Club and Student Council, Lomax Junior High NJHS , La Porte Junior High 's NJHS, and The Academy of Viola DeWalt have served and supported many of our events.

Our events would not be what they have turned out to be, without the excellent work ethic of these students.

We are grateful to LPISD, the students, and their parents for believing in our cause, and serving with us.

National Volunteer Week!

Here are pictures from our first Back to School Bash in August 2016! Our first year, we distributed school supplies to 150 students. And in 2023 we distributed 700 bags filled with school supplies!

As a result, since 2024, we have been asked to join the La Porte Community Partners' Back to School Bash in order to serve even more students! We are grateful for the connections we have been able to make, and for the support we continue to gain along the way!
