The countdown is on for the 14th Annual Good Grub & Gears Fall Car Show, and we need your help now more than ever.

One of the most critical parts of our fundraising success is the silent auction—and right now, we need donations to make it happen.

Every item donated helps raise funds for Texas EquuSearch, an organization that plays a vital role in bringing missing loved ones home. Without a strong silent auction, we simply can’t reach our fundraising goals.

Here’s how you can help today:

We’re looking for new, unused items such as:

Gift certificates to local restaurants or shops

Themed gift baskets (spa, BBQ, pet, movie night, etc.)

Car service or oil change certificates

Wine or liquor baskets

Car or sports memorabilia

Retail gift cards of any kind

No item is too small—every contribution adds up and directly supports our mission.

Please bring your items to our September club meeting or we can arrange for pick up!

✨ What an Incredible Saturday Street Meet! ✨

Space City Corvette Club was truly hitting on all cylinders! 🏁

A total of 40 Corvettes rolled into the Houston Yacht Club after a beautiful caravan cruise led by Roger Kauffman, who planned an outstanding route that made the journey just as enjoyable as the destination. The scenic drive, winding roads, and incredible Corvette lineup made for a perfect start to an unforgettable day.

A huge thank you to the McCombs and Denise McDaniel for organizing such a first-class event. Your hard work and attention to detail created an amazing experience for everyone, and something tells us this Super Street Meet Show & Shine has the makings of an annual tradition!

Our Corvette family was treated like royalty at the Houston Yacht Club. We had the entire upstairs dining area reserved just for us, with incredible views, outstanding service, and fantastic food. One of the greatest compliments came from our waitress, who told us we were her favorite group she had ever served proof that the Space City Corvette Club family brings the energy wherever we go! ❤️

But the fun didn’t stop there! After lunch, Bill and Marcia graciously opened their beautiful home overlooking Taylor Lake, where members enjoyed breathtaking views, great conversation, and unforgettable hospitality. To make the day even more special, Bill treated several members to incredible boat rides on the lake. Thank you both for your generosity and for sharing your beautiful home with our Corvette family. It was the perfect ending to a spectacular day!

🏆 Congratulations to James and Michele Massey on their beautiful new C8 Grand Sport—the very first one in the club! Wishing you both many miles of health, happiness, and unforgettable adventures behind the wheel!

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding this Fourth of July, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you for being such an important part of the Space City Corvette Club family.

This year carries special significance as America marks 250 years of freedom, courage, and the enduring spirit that has united generations. It reminds us how fortunate we are to celebrate not only our nation's history, but also the friendships and memories we continue to build together.

Yesterday was a day our club can truly be proud of. We had the privilege of leading the 131st Annual Friendswood Fourth of July Parade with an incredible 60 Corvettes. Not only did our club proudly lead the parade, but we also had the honor of anchoring it, with the final Corvette carrying the parade chairperson. Adding to our impressive presence, BJ Powers drove both a Hummer and a Ford F-350 displaying full-length banners featuring our club logo and the American flag. Together, our members represented the Space City Corvette Club with tremendous pride, patriotism, and community spirit.

Following the parade, we continued the celebration by gathering at our home to enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, and the many delicious dishes everyone generously brought to share. Thank you to everyone who contributed, especially those who volunteered to drive the dignitaries, helping make this special day possible.

Days like these remind us that our club is about much more than Corvettes. It's about coming together, serving our community, celebrating our country, and creating friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Special thanks to Janet Luckenbach for allowing the mayor of Friendswood to drive her car so he and his wife could ride together and even nicer gesture giving the mayors wife a bouquet decoration.

Thank you all for making this Independence Day celebration one to remember. We are truly blessed to share these moments with such an amazing group of members.

What an incredible weekend for Space City Corvette Club! Our members truly rose to the occasion, outshining the competition at the 32nd Annual Tri-City Corvette Club Car Show. Beyond the trophies, we had a fantastic time enjoying the show, sharing laughs with fellow enthusiasts, and meeting Eddie Munster along with the Counts Kustoms crew from Las Vegas. It's weekends like these that remind us the friendships and memories are just as rewarding as the awards.

And one more special congratulations goes to Erin Bristow for earning a Top 20 Award at this weekend's Josh Elliott Cancer Benefit Car Show. What a wonderful achievement!

Congratulations to everyone who represented our club. You made us all proud, and we can't wait for the next event. Until then—keep the shiny side up!
