Curious about American Mahjong but not sure where to start? Come learn the game in a welcoming, hands-on class designed especially for beginners!

Whether you've never touched a Mahjong tile or you've played a few times and want to better understand the game, you'll learn the fundamentals and gain the confidence to start playing. 💙

✨ Identify and understand the tiles
✨ Read and use the NMJ card
✨ Set up the game & build the walls
✨ Deal tiles & complete the Charleston
✨ Recognize possible hands
✨ Make exchanges & use Jokers
✨ Call tiles & work toward completing a hand

No previous experience required! Enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment with plenty of hands-on practice.

🛶💦 PADDLES UP, FRIENDSWOOD! 💦🛶

What a day on the water! The 9th Annual Rotary Regatta hit Clear Creek today with 56 kayaks and canoes and more than 75 paddlers making their way down the creek! ☀️🛶

A HUGE thank you to the Rotary Club of Friendswood for sponsoring this fun community tradition and to all of our amazing community partners, volunteers, and supporters who helped make today possible.

And, of course, thank you to every paddler who showed up ready for a little sunshine, friendly competition, and adventure! You are what makes the Regatta such a great Friendswood tradition.

Nine years strong—and still paddling! 💙💛

Congratulations to our latest Rotarian of the Moment, Scott MacKenzie!! 🎉🎉🎉

Scott recently conquered Hood to Coast in Oregon—a nearly 200-mile relay with elevation changes, very little sleep, and A LOT of running! 🏃‍♂️⛰️

We’re not sure what’s more impressive… finishing the race or wanting to do it again next year! 😬

Way to go, Scott! We’re so proud to have you as a Rotarian! 👏💙💛
