Registration is now open for the 49th Navasartian Games individual sports competitions 🏅

Athletes ages 6 & up are invited to participate in:
• Swimming
• Track & Field
• Tennis
• Table Tennis
• Chess

$60 registration fee per competition.
Roster submission deadline: Thursday, June 25.

Please note:
• Final schedules will depend on registration numbers and will be sent via email
• Members receive free venue entry with active membership
• Non-members must still pay festival entrance fees
• Registration payments are processed directly through Homenetmen Regional

Today members of Homenetmen Fresno Sassoon Chapter’s Scouting Division, executive members, and extended Homenetmen family participated in the annual Armenian flag blessing ceremony at Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church in honor of Armenia’s first independence on May 28, 1918, 108 years ago. May God bless the Republic of Armenia and May God bless the United States of America.

On Sunday, May 17 Homenetmen Fresno Sassoon Chapter’s Scouting Divison held its annual rank ceremony. In attendance was Regional Scouting Council member K. Katia Kevorkian, many of the Sassoon Executive Board members, and scout families.

We congratulate all of our scouts and their parents. We are grateful for the continued support, commitment, and dedication of our scouts as leaders within our chapter.

May these new ranks empower all of our scouts to continue to serve and develop their leadership skills and to pass those on to the future generation of scout leaders.

The program concluded with closing remarks by RSC member K. Katia Kevorkian and Sassoon Executive Board member and scouting division representative Y. Garo Tateosian.

We are very excited for the reminder of the year and for our many scouts who will have the opportunity to attend Jamboree this Summer!

On Saturday, May 9 Homenetmen Fresno Sassoon Chapter held an appreciation gathering outdoors at Arekavan in Del Rey, California. Members and their families enjoyed delicious tonir kebab, music, and series of water activities on the lake such as zip lining, canoeing, swimming and much more.

Thank you Arekavan for giving us the opportunity to hold our appreciation gathering on your grounds. ❤️💙🧡

This evening, April 24 as our community came together to commemorate the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide at Fresno State Armenian Genocide monument, members of the Homenetmen Fresno Sassoon Chapter’s Scouting Divison had the opportunity lead the flag ceremony.
