This May Day, Valley Forward, along with many other organizations, stood with workers outside Fresno City Hall to honor the power of working people and the fight for dignity on the job. Through powerful speeches and a united march, our community called out wage theft, discrimination, and unsafe working conditions—especially the realities faced by low-wage and immigrant workers.

We know real change doesn’t come from waiting—it comes from organizing. When workers come together, we build the power to protect our communities, defend our rights, and demand better. This May Day was a reminder: Divided we Beg, United we Bargain!

Every worker in the Central Valley and around the world deserves dignity and respect.
