🏒 FIA PLAYER DEVELOPMENT SERIES KICKS OFF SEPTEMBER 12!

Hockey is a physical game—and learning how to safely play through contact is a skill that needs to be taught and practiced.

We’re excited to roll out the first of several player development opportunities this season!

From learning how to safely retrieve a puck along the wall to proper angling and eventually safely giving AND receiving body checks, we’re building these skills progressively and age appropriately.

Players AND coaches are strongly encouraged to attend!

🚨 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

The Fremont Ice Association is excited to announce Brian Mellon as the Head Coach of our 2026–2027 Bantam Silver Team!

Coach Mellon brings a lifelong passion for hockey that began in Wisconsin and has continued through years of coaching and developing young athletes. Now entering his fifth season coaching within the Fremont Ice Association, Brian has become a familiar face around the rink and is committed to helping players build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and enjoy the game.

As both a coach and hockey parent with three children currently playing in our program, Brian understands the importance of creating a positive, competitive environment where every player has the opportunity to grow.

We're excited to have Coach Mellon leading our Bantam Silver team and helping continue the development of the next generation of players!
