The Nebraska Performing Arts Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring, preserving, and celebrating the artists, educators, and advocates who have shaped Nebraska’s rich performing arts legacy. By recognizing, telling their stories, and engaging the community, we aim to ensure their contributions continue to inspire future generations across our state.
Our mission is not only to recognize excellence but to build awareness and appreciation for the performing arts as a vital part of Nebraska’s cultural identity. We work to connect communities, support arts education, and create opportunities for people of all ages to engage with and learn from the remarkable talent that calls Nebraska home.
Through grant-funded programs across Nebraska, we are expanding our impact even further. These initiatives will take performing groups on a multi-town concert series, bringing live music directly into communities while making meaningful stops along the way to educate and engage. We're reaching out to inspire young people to explore the arts and take advantage of our Instrument for Youth Program, helping remove barriers and open doors for the next generation of performers.
This Give to Lincoln Day, we are raising funds to support these programs and to take an exciting next step: the development of a permanent, physical Hall of Fame space in downtown Lincoln. This space will serve as a cultural destination—showcasing honorees, hosting events, and providing an interactive experience that brings Nebraska’s performing arts history to life.
