Summer is one of the most joyful seasons of the year ☀️

But for thousands of children right here in Williamson County, it also means losing access to the meals they count on every single school day.

The good news? This community has never looked away from a need. And it is not about to start now.

GraceWorks is gearing up for the summer ahead - stocking shelves, packing carts, and making sure families have everything they need to keep their kids nourished and cared for when school bells stop ringing.

But we cannot do it without you. A $50 donation provides a neighbor with $450 worth of real, wholesome food. That is the power of this community in action 💙

No child in Williamson County should spend their summer wondering where their next meal is coming from. Together, we are making sure they do not have to.

And for thousands of kids right here in Williamson County, that means something most of us never have to think about - the meals they count on every single school day are gone.

No more free breakfast.
No more free lunch.
Just a long summer and an empty plate.

Food insecurity doesn’t take a summer break.
But GraceWorks doesn’t either 💙

Our Food Pantry is here - stocked with fresh produce, protein, dairy, and more, making sure families have what they need to keep their kids fed, nourished, and cared for all summer long 🥕🥚🌽

Some people show up for a season. Floy and Duane O’Mark have shown up for a lifetime 💙

This month, we are so honored to celebrate our Volunteers of the Month - a husband and wife who have given their time, their hearts, and their hands to this community in the most beautiful way.

Floy has been serving neighbors at GraceWorks for over 20 years. What started in Neighbor Services has grown into a legacy of quiet, faithful dedication that has touched more lives than she will ever know. And beyond her hours of service, Floy covers this ministry and this community in prayer every single month - because she believes in what happens here, not just with her hands, but with her whole heart.

Duane shows up right alongside her, lending his time and talents to our electronics department, making sure the things our neighbors need most are ready and waiting for them.

Side by side. Week after week. Year after year.

This is what it looks like to love your neighbor well 💙

This past weekend, something beautiful happened in Fairview 💙

Our Mobile Food Pantry team, alongside our incredible partners at Second Harvest Food Bank, showed up and showed out for 149 neighbors, each leaving with a full cart of fresh, nourishing food.

We’re talking potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, onions, and even some guava and rutabaga making a surprise appearance. 🌽🥔

But the moment that stopped us in our tracks?

One neighbor shared that every single time she walks through our doors, she leaves smiling. That she feels accepted. That the fresh fruits and vegetables mean she can put healthy meals on the table for her family.
That’s why we do this. That’s why we show up. Every single time 💙

A massive thank you to our volunteers and to Second Harvest Food Bank for making this possible.
You are the hands and feet of grace in this community.
