Recently, Steve Moore was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Organizational Leadership by Universidad San Pablo de Guatemala, recognizing a lifetime defined by service and an unwavering commitment to the children of Guatemala.

Guided by faith, humility, and a deep conviction to serve others, his vision led to the founding of Centro Moore in Guatemala, supported by Shalom Foundation, where thousands of children and adolescents have received the surgeries they needed to transform their lives.

While the true extent of his impact can never be fully measured, his legacy is reflected every day in stories of perseverance, restored smiles, and new opportunities for those who need them most.

As we conclude our 190th Cleft Lip and Palate Surgical Mission, we reflect on a week filled with purpose alongside Medical Missions For Children.

Thanks to their commitment, expertise, and dedication, 41 children and adolescents, ages 0 to 17, received the surgical care they needed. Each patient served represents the impact that can be achieved when healthcare professionals use their skills to make a difference in the lives of others.

To the entire Medical Missions For Children, thank you for once again partnering with us and helping make this mission possible.

Today marks the beginning of our 189th free surgical mission at Centro MOORE , Guatemala.💜😊

We are starting a new journey focused on plastic and urologic surgeries for children and adolescents.

We have concluded our free surgical mission in orthopedics, hand, and upper extremity, in collaboration with the team from Operation KidDocs at Centro MOORE.

Over the course of this week, 42 children underwent surgery, taking an important step toward their well-being.

We are pleased with what was accomplished and deeply grateful to the team at Operation Kid Docs for their trust in Moore Center, as well as to everyone who made this mission possible. 💜
