The Emerging Makers Tent occurs every Tennessee Craft fair as an exclusive opportunity for member artists interested in taking their craft business to the next level. In the Emerging Makers Tent, groups of artists from each chapter work together in a supportive environment to gain practical experience selling their artwork. This experience is designed to help emerging makers take the next step toward exhibiting as independent artists on the main tent circle at Tennessee Craft fairs.

Emerging makers may be artists of any age or background who are:

beginning their craft career,
working in a new medium, or
exhibiting at a Tennessee Craft Fair for the first time.

Tennessee Craft seeks entries for Tennessee Craft 2025 Member Exhibition, to highlight and promote the excellence and high standards of Tennessee Craft member artists and to provide public visibility and recognition for the quality and diversity of craft found in Tennessee. The exhibition is open to original works of craft created by artists 18 years of age or older, including students. All applicants must be 2025 members of Tennessee Craft to be considered for jury.

TnCRAFT Midstate is proud of our longstanding partnership with the Metro Parks Centennial Art Center Gallery, located in Nashville's Centennial Park. Our annual exhibit is an invitational exhibit and open to all Midstate TnCRAFT members.
