As the needs of our community become ever increasing, The Franciscan Center continues to changeto meet those needs. Starting as a homeless shelter; we've transformed into four distinct programs that serve the Fort Wayne community.
- SAINT PETER'S SACK LUNCH PROGRAM
- Through this program we make up to 1,000 sack lunches every week to be delivered to the hungry on Saturday mornings, free of cha
rge, no matter what the weather conditions are, with no questions asked. 75% of the people who receive the sack lunches are children.
- SAINT ANTHONY'S FOOD PANTRY PROGRAM
- Through this program neighborhood families come to the Food Pantry once a month to receive free groceries and a smile. Countless volunteers take the responsibility to receive the groceries, stock the shelves, and distribute the food.
- SAINT JOSEPH'S MEDICINE CABINET
- Through this program we provide assistance to individuals in the community in times of emergency and special circumstances with over-the-counter medication and personal needs with financial and in-kind help.
- FEED MY SHEEP MINISTRY
- Through this program we encourage community groups, business groups, neighborhood associations, and churches to support the Food Pantry by providing them with tools for organizing their own food drives to benefit The Fanciscan Center. LEND YOUR NEIGHBORS A HELPING HAND-
