WOOHOO!! 1,980 LUNCHES SERVED TO DATE ❤

Our MAY lunch service was sponsored by the delightful Diane Hanson (daughter of William and Dolores K**k) and her equally awesome husband, Mike Hanson!

We are extra appreciative of their donation because they not only financially donated, but they also took the time to shop for AND assembled all of the lunches as well and then drove them all here from Indianapolis. Seriously... Your efforts do not go unappreciated on this end.

The Hanson’s generosity will provide sixty (60) lunches to the Fort Wayne community. Each lunch includes a sandwich (Ham, Turkey or Cheese - all with Green Leaf Lettuce), a applesauce cup, cheese stick, a bag of goldfish crackers, one bottle of water, a Rice Krispie Treat prize and lots of love. 😋😋

The K**k Family Foundation hosts one lunch session each month (more frequently when we have an abundance of sponsors). We are always looking for donor sponsors for upcoming lunch sessions, and we thank those of you who have already signed up for a month of service.

Just send us a DM to ask how you can be part of the mission to end hunger in the community.

A very special thank you to our dedicated outreach partners at Common Ground Outreach who help us to ensure that the lunches our community donates land in the hands of those who need them.

This is just one of the many ways that we can come together as a community to show our friends in that we care. In a town with this much heart, no one should ever go hungry.

Stop saying you wish you could help... You CAN!! ❤❤❤

1,620 LUNCHES SERVED TO DATE ❤

This lunch service was sponsored in loving memory of Willie & Dolores K**k by a wonderful little angel named KATHIE K**K.

This kind gesture won't surprise those who know Kathie. Family is everything to her. Those who don't know Kathie will be able to see evidence of this in the photos below... it is impossible to find a picture of Kathie without a child or grandchild close to her (or a mound of smiling children sitting in her lap). 🥰

Because of Kathie's donation, we were able to, in partnership with Common Ground Outreach, ensure that 60 lunches were distributed to our friends in who need a little help.

Each lunch included a sandwich (Ham, Salami or Turkey - all with Green Leaf Lettuce), a mandarin oranges, a string cheese, a huge bag of veggie straws, a bottle of water and TWO COOKIES. 🍪🍪

We are also thankful for two special volunteers who offered to help us make this week's lunches. Mackenzie Stidams and Haisley were super helpful and just so happy to be able to be involved. SO grateful for the extra sets of hands. 😊

Stop saying you wish you could help... You CAN!! ❤❤❤

Can't afford to sponsor the entire service? Partial donations are always accepted (and appreciated). Truly, every little bit helps.

Willie & Dolores Inspired

Once upon a time, there were two amazing humans, William & Dolores K**k, who, from a love that lasted their lifetimes, created a family to whom they taught the importance of selfless love. This foundation is named for them.

The K**k Family Foundation Inc. is an Indiana Nonprofit Corporation focused on community outreach and in helping to provide food and miscellaneous survival items to Fort Wayne, Indiana's homeless community.

We are committed to community out reach that takes shape in the form of two, ANNUAL single-day, community outreach "take-what-you-need" concept events, "K**k Family Christmas" in December and "Clothing Our Community" in August.

In addition, we work in collaboration with other location organizations, like Milk Crate Ministries, to provide lunches to the homeless community.
