Meet our 336th newest Leo’s Kid, Sudhan Bohara!

We are honored to welcome 3-month-old Sudhan Bohara from Salyan as our 336th Leo’s Kid. This sweet baby boy has been diagnosed with infantile fibrosarcoma and is currently receiving treatment at Patan Hospital.

Sudhan and his family are now staying at our P-Flat, providing them with a safe and supportive home base during his care. His father, Gopal Bohara, and his mother, Gita Giri, are by his side as he fights this battle.

Little Sudhan’s path to a diagnosis was long and difficult. His family initially sought treatment in Tulsipur, but doctors were unable to determine the cause of his illness. A month later, they traveled to Kathmandu and visited Kanti Children’s Hospital. After multiple medical testing did not yield a clear diagnosis and later finally confirmed he had infantile fibrosarcoma. Sudhan was then referred to the Trauma Centre and subsequently to Patan Hospital, where his treatment has officially begun.

Meet our 335th newest Leo’s Kid, Salina Nepali!

We are so happy to welcome 5-year-old Salina Nepali from Parbat as our 335th Leo’s Kid! This brave little girl has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is currently receiving treatment at Kanti Children’s Hospital.

Salina is now staying comfortably at our K-Flat, a safe and supportive home away from home while she focuses on getting well. Her father, Santosh Nepali, works in farming, and her mother, Sumitra Nepali, is a housewife.

Salina’s journey began with a fever lasting around three months, along with pain in her legs and back. After seeking care at several hospitals in her district and in Pokhara without a clear diagnosis, her condition worsened at home. When doctors found she had a very low blood count, she was urgently referred to Kanti Children’s Hospital.

Despite these long and difficult challenges, we know Salina’s spirit will shine bright!

Meet our 334th Leo’s Kid, Nidhi Sardar!

We are so happy to welcome 4-year-old Nidhi Sardar from Sunsari, Morang as our 334th Leo’s Kid! This brave little girl has been diagnosed with Blood Cancer and is currently receiving treatment at Kanti Children’s Hospital.

Nidhi is now staying comfortably at our K-Flat, which provides a safe, warm, and supportive environment for her and her family during her medical journey. Nidhi’s father, Gange Sardar, works as a laborer, and her mother, Anita Sardar, is a housewife.

Her story began when lumps started appearing in her neck. She was taken to Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar for medical test. When the tests confirmed cancer, she was referred to Kanti Children’s Hospital for further specialized treatment.

We are inspired by her resilience and are fully committed to supporting Nidhi and her family every single step of the way as she fights this disease.

Celebrating Suhana Bardeba: Our 179th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer!
We’re overjoyed to share the heartwarming news that our 292nd Leo’s Kid, the 6-year-old Suhana Bardeba, has successfully completed her active treatment for blood cancer (ALL) and is now entering the maintenance phase! Suhana is our 179th Leo’s Kid to survive cancer! After 275 days of dedicated care and unwavering strength, Suhana is finally heading home.
Suhana received her treatment at Kanti Children’s Hospital. During these challenging 275 days, Suhana and her family stayed at Leo’s Kid K-Flat (Jyoti group), which became their home away from home.
Her parents, Naresh Bardeba, who works in farming, and Bimala Bardeba, who is a housewife, have been a pillar of strength, providing immense love and courage throughout Suhana’s journey. Their dedication, along with Suhana’s incredible resilience, has brought them to this significant milestone.
We are incredibly proud of Suhana and her family and wish her all the best on her continued path to full recovery!

Meet our 333rd Leo’s Kid, Pratika Angdembe!

We are so happy to welcome 10-year-old Pratika Angdembe from Urlabari, Morang, Nepal as our 333rd Leo’s Kid! This brave little girl has been diagnosed with BCP-ALL (B-cell Precursor Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and is currently receiving treatment at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.

Pratika is now staying comfortably at our B-Flat, which provides a safe, peaceful, and supportive environment for her and her family during her medical journey. Pratika’s father, Prem Angdembe, works in farming, and her mother is Kalpana Tumbapo.

Her journey began with a stomach ache. She was first taken to Amiko Hospital in Urlabari, where the doctor noticed concerning symptoms and referred her to Novel Hospital for further testing. After several examinations, she was diagnosed with BCP-ALL and transferred to Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital for specialized care.

Before her diagnosis, Pratika was a dedicated Class-6 student at Sapta Koshi English Boarding School. We are inspired by her strength and are fully committed to supporting Pratika and her family every single step of the way as she fights this disease.

Roina is now staying comfortably at our C-Flat, which provides a safe, warm, and supportive environment for her and her family during her medical journey. Roina’s father, Shyam Bahadur Kumal, works in the police force, and her mother is Geeta Shrestha.

Roina describes herself as a cheerful and friendly girl who likes playing games, watching cartoons, and spending time with her family and friends. She wants to learn new things and grow up healthy and happy!

Before her diagnosis, Roina was a dedicated Class-5 student at Kalika Sankar Kulam Secondary School. We are inspired by her bright spirit and are fully committed to supporting Roina and her family every single step of the way.

We are so happy to welcome 6-year-old Sangam Oli from Surkhet, Nepal as our 331st Leo’s Kid! This brave little boy has been diagnosed with Blood Cancer and is currently receiving treatment at Bharatpur Cancer Hospital.

Sangam is now staying comfortably at our C-Flat, which provides a safe, peaceful, and supportive environment for him and his family during his medical journey. Sangam’s father is Milan Oli, and his mother is Srijana Pun.

Sangam is a quiet, shy, and very gentle child who doesn’t talk much. Before his diagnosis, he was a student in Class-LKG at Wame Dynamic School. In his free time, he loves playing football and watching Motu Patlu. We are inspired by his strength and are fully committed to supporting Sangam and his family every step of the way as he fights this disease.

Meet our 330th Leo’s Kid, Bijay Dangaura!

We are so happy to welcome 15-year-old Bijay Dangaura from Dhangadhi-7, Kailali as our 330th Leo’s Kid! This brave young man has been diagnosed with a Tumor and is currently receiving specialized treatment at Patan Hospital.

Bijay is now staying comfortably at our P-Flat, which provides a safe, peaceful, and supportive environment for him and his family during his medical journey. Bijay’s father, Gokul Dangaura, works as a laborer, and his mother, Asha Kumari Chaudhary, is a housewife.

His journey began when he experienced chest pain along with a persistent cough. He was first taken to a local hospital in Kailali for treatment, but when his condition did not improve, he was referred to Teaching Hospital, where he was diagnosed with cancer. Following the diagnosis, he was referred for specialized care at Patan Hospital.

Before his diagnosis, Bijay was a dedicated Class-9 student at Shree Saraswati Secondary School. In his free time, he enjoys watching adventure movies and cartoons, as well as practicing Ludo. We are inspired by his strength and are fully committed to supporting Bijay and his family every step of the way as he fights this disease.
