His father, Raju Nau, works hard in farming, and his mother, Mira Nau, is a dedicated housewife. Before his diagnosis, Shyam was a diligent Class 7 student at Shree Krishak Aadarsh Ma.Vi.

Shyam’s journey began when he started running a fever at home. He was initially checked at Crimson Hospital and subsequently referred to Bhairahawa Medical College. From there, he was referred to B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital in Chitwan for specialized cancer treatment. Despite facing these tough challenges at a young age, we know Shyam’s resilient spirit will shine bright!

Meet our 316th newest Leo’s Kid, Diksh*t Basyal!

We are so honored to welcome 1-year-old Diksh*t Basyal from Sandhikharka, Arghakhanchi as our 316th Leo’s Kid! This brave little boy has been diagnosed with ALL B-Cell Blood cancer and is currently receiving treatment at Kanti Children’s Hospital.

Diksh*t is now staying comfortably at our K-Flat, providing a safe and supportive home away from home for him and his family while he focuses on getting well. His father, Krishna Prasad Basyal, works hard in hospitality field, and his mother, Radhika Parajuli, is a dedicated housewife.

Diksh*t’s journey began when pain first started in his left leg and abdomen. His family took him to a local hospital for a check-up, from where they were referred to a bigger hospital. Though that hospital initially stated there was no illness, the persistent pain did not go away. They subsequently went to Kanti Children’s Hospital, where further testing revealed that the disease was cancer.

Despite facing such heavy hurdles at such a tender age, we know Diksh*t’s resilient spirit will shine bright!

Let’s surround Diksh*t and his family with love and support as they begin this journey with Team Leo’s Kids.

If you’d like to support brave Leo’s Kids like Diksh*t, please consider donating. Your kindness changes lives.
