Meet our 328th Leo’s Kid, Yaman Manandhar!
We are so happy to welcome 12-year-old Yaman Manandhar from Sarlahi as our 328th Leo’s Kid! This brave boy has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma and is currently receiving treatment at Patan Hospital.
Yaman is now staying comfortably at our P-Flat, which provides a safe and supportive environment for him and his family during his medical journey. Yaman’s father, Nir Kumar Manandhar, works in foreign employment, and his mother, Sunita Shrestha, is a housewife.
His illness began with a fever that came and went every two days. After experiencing a bump on the stairs, a lump became noticeable, and doctors initially advised that surgery would be necessary. Yaman was then taken to Kanti Children’s Hospital for further evaluation, where his medical report revealed the presence of cancer. He was referred to the Trauma Center for specialized care before being transferred to Patan Hospital, where his treatment is currently ongoing.
Before his diagnosis, Yaman was a dedicated Class-5 student at Elite English Boarding School. We are inspired by his strength and are fully committed to supporting Yaman and his family every step of the way as he fights this disease.
Please join us in surrounding Yaman and his family with love, prayers, and encouraging thoughts as they begin this journey with Team Leo’s Kids!
