As our community navigates a challenging election season, we encourage everyone to stay informed, seek reliable information, and treat one another with respect. Our focus remains on supporting neighbors facing hardship.

Being on the front lines gives you insight that can’t be gained from spreading hate behind a keyboard. Seeing suffering up close helps us look beyond political talking points and recognize our shared humanity.

Volunteering for a worthy cause is good for the heart, mind, and soul. It can also enrich your social life and help you find your people. Volunteering with friends brings all these benefits while strengthening your bond. 💪❤️

Sack lunch volunteers are happy to serve anyone in need of food. Stop by our building during serving hours where you may request up to three sack meals, milk and juice. If you are a pet parent you may also request a bag of cat or dog food.

Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m.to 9:00 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. to noon

We look forward to serving you! We offer free meals (up to three each visit) for anyone in need.

Stop by 317 N F Street in Fort Smith. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. to noon. Saturdays we are open 11:30 a.m. to noon. Pet parents may request a free bag (ziplock size) of dog or cat food.

It doesn’t take a campaign, a special month, or a world crisis for us to help people in need of food. We’ve been serving our community for more than three decades, and we’ll continue as long as the need remains.❤️

Our volunteers are here Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to noon. Feel free to stop by during either time. On Saturdays, we’re open from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Meals and drinks are prepared for you to take with you, and we also provide pet food for visitors with pets.

A big thank you to Lolly Swicegood, who recently brought in donations of dog and cat food to help keep our pet-food supply stocked. We have the best volunteers! 😊. Lolly received the cat food free of charge from the kind people at Dunn Deals Variety Store. Thank you!🙏 #

For our friends and neighbors without transportation, the Fort Smith Transit is offering free rides this Wednesday, September 23rd.

We are so fortunate to have a public bus system, especially when we consider people in our rural areas who are without. Please take this opportunity to visit Sack Lunch. We are happy to help anyone in need of food.

If you are seeing our page for the first time we are located at 317 N F Street in Fort Smith. Our serving hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. & 11:30 a.m. to noon. We welcome you to come during both serving times. On Saturdays we are open 11:30 a.m. to noon.

We do not require identification or income verification. You may request up to three sack meals per visit. We also have the best volunteer servers who look out for your pets. If you are a pet parent, you may request a free baggie of dog or cat food.

Ask and you shall receive! No one is turned away at the Sack Lunch Program. Our friendly volunteers are happy to provide free sack meals and drink during our serving hours. If you are hungry, or dealing with a shortage of food in your home please see us at 317 N. F Street. Meals are prepared for you to take with you. Pet parents may request a free baggie of dog or cat food.

Finally we want to express our gratitude to Paul's Meat Market. 🍖🥪Occasionally, we receive the end part of deli meat that is hard for us to slice. Paul’s Meat Market agreed to slice meat for us anytime we need it. Thank you! 😊

Focus on the people and places committed to showing love to their fellow human beings. Sack Lunch will be here for as long as we are needed, and that need continues today.
