❤️ LOVE IN ACTION — MORE THAN JUST A MEAL! ❤️

THIS IS WHY WE SHOW UP! 🙏

Another beautiful Tuesday at Lions Park in Fort Myers, and another reminder that God is doing something special through Faith Defenders Motorcycle Ministry!

We came together to serve a delicious hot meal, share clothing and other necessities, offer prayer, and spend time with some pretty incredible people.

But here’s what I love most about these Tuesdays…

It’s not just about feeding hungry bellies. It’s about feeding souls. ❤️

It’s about the friendships we’re building, the familiar faces we look forward to seeing every week, the laughter, the hugs, the conversations, and those precious moments when someone allows us to pray with them.

Every single person matters. Every single life has value. And every single person deserves to know they are loved.

Looking through these pictures, I see so much more than a group of volunteers serving food. I see people coming together, caring for one another, and being the hands and feet of Jesus.

And I have to say, I am so incredibly grateful for this amazing team! Everyone just jumps in and does what needs to be done. No spotlight needed. No recognition expected. Just hearts willing to serve. ❤️

To our volunteers, ministry partners, donors, and everyone who helps make these Tuesdays possible, THANK YOU! You may never fully realize the difference you’re making in someone’s life.

We’re not there to change the world in one afternoon. We’re there to love the person standing right in front of us.

And sometimes, that changes everything. 🙏

❤️ LOOK WHAT A SIMPLE BICYCLE CAN DO! ❤️

Just look at Christopher’s smile! 🥹❤️

Sometimes we forget how much the little things we take for granted can mean to someone else.

To most of us, a bicycle is just a bicycle. But to someone in need, it can mean freedom, independence, transportation, and a little piece of hope.

And today, Christopher’s smile says more than a thousand words ever could!

This is what LOVE IN ACTION looks like. ❤️

At Faith Defenders Motorcycle Ministry, we see firsthand how something sitting unused in someone’s garage can become an incredible blessing in someone else’s life.

🚲 We are always looking for donations of working bicycles, adult tricycles, and bicycle trailers to help our homeless neighbors get where they need to go.

If you have one you’re no longer using, please consider donating it. You may never fully realize the difference it could make.

Sometimes changing someone’s day is as simple as giving them a set of wheels.

❤️💧 GIVING CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE! 💧❤️

I'm so excited to share that we've added Sunshine Ace Hardware to the Partner Spotlights on our Faith Defenders Motorcycle Ministry website!

Sunshine Ace has been faithfully supporting our ❤️ LOVE IN ACTION ❤️ outreach with bottled water for months. And who could forget that ENTIRE PALLET of water they donated in September?! 🙌

In this Florida heat, water isn't a luxury for someone living on the streets. It's a necessity.

What I love most is what was printed right on those cases:

“LET'S MAKE A DIFFERENCE.”

And that's exactly what they're doing!

Karen, Michael, and the entire Sunshine Ace family, THANK YOU for continuing to show up for our neighbors in need. Your generosity is making a difference every single week!

❤️ ANOTHER MILESTONE FOR FAITH DEFENDERS! ❤️

Faith Defenders Motorcycle Ministry, Inc. has officially earned the 2026 Bronze Seal of Transparency from Candid!

When I started this ministry, I had no idea where God was going to lead us. I just knew we were called to love people, serve others, and put our faith into action.

Every Tuesday, our amazing volunteers show up to feed, encourage, pray with, and love on people experiencing homelessness and hardship. And every week, I'm reminded that this ministry is so much bigger than any one of us.

This recognition means we've taken another step toward building a transparent, accountable nonprofit that our supporters can feel confident standing behind.

We're just getting started, and I can't wait to see what God does next!

❤️ YOUR UNWANTED ITEMS COULD CHANGE SOMEONE’S LIFE! ❤️

FAITH DEFENDERS MOTORCYCLE MINISTRY — LOVE IN ACTION

Every Tuesday at Lions Park in Fort Myers, we have the privilege of serving our homeless neighbors with hot meals, clothing, necessities, prayer, and most importantly, LOVE! ❤️

But the needs don’t stop when Tuesday ends.

We’re reaching out to our Southwest Florida community because so many of the things sitting unused in our homes, closets, and garages could make an incredible difference in someone else’s life.

🙏 HERE’S WHAT WE CURRENTLY NEED:

👕 CLOTHING: Men’s and women’s clothing, T-shirts, shorts, jeans, sweatshirts, jackets, and socks. New underwear and socks are especially appreciated!

👟 SHOES: Sneakers, walking shoes, sandals, and work boots. All sizes, in good wearable condition.

🧼 HYGIENE PRODUCTS: Shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, wipes, feminine hygiene products, razors, and other personal-care essentials. New and unopened, please!

⛺ TENTS & CAMPING SUPPLIES: Tents, tarps, sleeping bags, blankets, and rain gear.

❤️ SPECIAL REQUEST: We have a woman who desperately needs a 3-person tent for herself and her dogs. If you have one sitting in your garage that you’re no longer using, you could be answering someone’s prayer!

🚲 BICYCLES & TRAILERS: Working bicycles, bicycle trailers, and accessories. For someone without transportation, a bicycle can mean the difference between getting to work, appointments, or essential services and having no way to get there.

🐾 DOG & CAT FOOD: We are also accepting dry and canned dog and cat food! Many of our homeless neighbors have four-legged companions who depend on them, and we want to help care for those precious animals, too.

🎒 OTHER ESSENTIALS: Backpacks, rolling suitcases, cooling towels, portable battery banks, ponchos, bug spray, bus passes, and gift cards.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO SPEND MONEY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Sometimes the very thing you no longer need is exactly what someone else has been praying for.

Faith Defenders Motorcycle Ministry is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donation receipts are available upon request.

Maybe I’ve been looking at this all wrong. ❤️

I absolutely love serving our friends at Lions Park. But lately, one of the greatest blessings has been stepping back for a moment and watching our team serve.

Nobody has to be told what to do anymore. They show up, unload, set tables, put out chairs, organize clothing, prepare food, serve meals, talk with people, pray, clean up and fill whatever need is in front of them.

And it hit me… what an incredible blessing that is.

God has surrounded this ministry with some truly amazing people.

There are those who are there week after week — Buffalo and Steve especially — and so many others who continually pour into this outreach. Julissa was even sending tables and chairs for our homeless outreach while she was away at Navy boot camp. THAT is a servant’s heart.

Every person brings something different. Every person matters. And somehow, it all comes together every Tuesday.

I may have helped start this outreach, but it was never supposed to be about one person. This is a team. This is a family. And this is what the body of Christ looks like when everybody uses what God has given them.

I’m also so grateful that, with the exception of just one week, we’ve taken a team picture every Tuesday. Someday I think I’m going to look back at all of those pictures and realize just how much God was doing while we were busy simply showing up.

LOVE IN ACTION ❤️

I didn’t get a chance to post about last Tuesday’s outreach, but it was such a beautiful evening that I didn’t want to let it pass without sharing.

We were so blessed to have members of Lost Riders come out and serve alongside us. There is something powerful about seeing people show up, jump in, and love on others with no agenda other than helping.

Before we served, I felt strongly led by the Holy Spirit to share a message about prayer, faith, and obedience.

God hears us.
God answers prayer.
God is still a miracle worker.

But faith is not passive.

We can pray for God to move mountains, and He absolutely can — but sometimes He is also asking us to take the next step in front of us. To be obedient. To move when He says move. To keep walking even when we cannot see the entire path yet.

Sometimes the miracle begins with one obedient step.

Buffalo followed that message with an absolutely beautiful grace over the meal, and it was one of those moments where you could just feel God’s presence.

And another blessing — Abby came back! ❤️ It was so good having her with us again.

I’m continually grateful for every volunteer, every partner, every person who serves a plate, carries a table, fills a bag, prays with someone, or simply stops long enough to make another person feel seen.

This is why we go.

Keri Anne Cefarelli was last seen leaving her North Fort Myers home on January 5, 2017.

There were multiple verified sightings of Cefarelli reported in central Fort Myers along US 41, but there have been no confirmed sightings since.

Keri is now 49 years old, approximately 5'5" and 120 pounds. She has a flower tattoo on her right shoulder and a cat tattoo on her ankle.

Someone may have information that can help the Lee County Sheriff's Office determine what happened to Keri and help bring answers to her family. Even a detail that seemed insignificant at the time could be important.

If you have information in this case, you are asked to contact SWFL Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477), submit a tip on online or on the P3 app. You can remain anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
